Matterdale Parish Council is considered to be a statutory consultee for planning applications in the parish. Whilst the Council can comment on any given application that is received, they do not decide whether approval is granted or not. Residents of Matterdale Parish can pass their views on to Councillors by emailing the Clerk MatterdaleParishcClerk@gmail.com or directly comment on applications by visiting the Lake District National Park Authority Planning page.
